Research interests
Professor Lancaster's research interests are in matrix and numerical analysis especially as applied to vibrations, systems theory, and signal processing. He is the author or co-author of several texts and monographs and serves on a number of editorial boards. He is well-travelled and, since retiring from teaching in 1994, he maintains an active program of research involving graduate students, Post Doctoral Fellows, and international collaborations.
